Here is another Halloween music video pick. A visual representation of pure heartbreak. Never saw anything quite like it before.
Note: This video is not for the squeamish. You’ve been warned.
Check out my first Halloween music video pick. I spotted this video on MTV a few days ago and it immediately caught my attention. The song is as dark and creepy as the video. From the crimson haired women with butcher knives ready to “cut like a buffalo” to the strategic lighting. And yes that is Jack White from the White Stripes.

This song makes me say “la, la la la” lol. Love the colors in this video even though it is so 80s. I’m not an Electronica girl but there is something a little hip-hop about this duo that sits well with me.

ThroOowback! This has to be in my top 10 favorite songs list. I’ll never get tired of listening and/or throwing it down on the dance floor to this song. “Never trust a big butt and a smile” ha ha ha.

Today I am remembering Aaliyah, one of my favorite artists, on the 8th anniversary of her death. Check out the video of my favorite Aaliyah song “One in a Million.” This video was the first Aaliyah video I saw on MTV. I was probably in 4th or 5th grade. How time flies. RIP Aaliyah.

Check out this video featuring 4 of my favorite entertainers. The makeup on the models in this video is fierce! Did I mention that I have Drake fever? lol. Stay off that knee boo!

So you may be wondering why I am including music in my blog.
There are 3 reasons:
And speaking of my prerogative check out one of my favorite songs. I have to throw it down in the club when this comes on. Its a throwback (hint: its a song by a group sanz Bobby Brown). (more…)
I have been listening to Kanye West‘s 808s and Heartbreak album since it was released last November. Say what you want about his ego but Kanye is one of the most creative artists out there right now. Definitely an inspiration, and have I told you guys that this album is the story of my life yet? lol. Well sort of.
Anyway, if you haven’t figured it out by now, Rihanna is one of my makeup inspirations. Her makeup artist Mylah Morales can beat a face (no Chris Brown jokes please).
So when I found out Rihanna was going to appear in Kanye’s “Paranoid” video, you know I was hype. Check out the video after the jump. (more…)
