This might as well be a Rihanna fansite lol. But seriously how hot is this evening gown that she wore to the Glamour Women of the Year Gala? Love the architecture and different textures. And of course our girl Rihanna is carrying it well. The makeup is simple and glamorous:

We don’t need 10 eye shadows on our eyes to shut it down. Sometimes less is more.

Megan Fox

Megan Fox knows how to make even a fresh faced makeup look smoldering. If you watch makeup tutorials on YouTube, you will find a litany of people attempting to recreate her looks. Stylistically Fox rarely disappoints. She is yet another celebrity with a good team behind her always making her look stunning.

Teyana Taylor

Teyana Taylor, of MTV Super Sweet 16 and “Google Me” fame, was twitpic-ing up a storm last night about her new lipgloss line called Dope Lips. She posted several photographs from her photoshoot for the line that will be launching soon.

The picture above is my favorite of the bunch. It is very Give Them Some Lip: liner, lashes, and a bold lip. Don’t be afraid of wearing a bold color just because your lips are full. Flaunt ‘em if you got ‘em.

That doesn’t mean we have to abandon our nudes either. As William Cowper said: “Variety is the spice of life.”

My watery eyes are my “Achilles heel” when it comes to makeup. I don’t mind reapplying eyeliner but I have yet to find an eyeliner that will stay longer than 10 minutes on my waterline.

I have tried:

• Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner – partially came off within 15 minutes.
• MAC Fluidline – not safe for the waterline for a reason. This baby burned.
• MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil – the infamous Feline runs all over the place.
• Stila Kajal Eyeliner – just as runny as Feline.
• MAC Technakohl Eyeliner – didn’t last.
• MAC Eye Kohl – bust.
• Setting it with eye shadow trick – wild guess…didn’t do the trick either.
• NARS Eye Liner Pencil – womp womp womp!
• Benefit Bad Gal – No surprise here.

This is not to say that these eyeliners are bad. These lemons end up being used on my lids and lash-line. Many people praise these liners that work for their waterlines. I am, however, a special case. Nothing I try works.

What are your holy grail eye liners that stay on your waterline without giving you raccoon eyes? Maybe your favorite will be the answer to my eyeliner woes.

Paulina Rubio

Paulina Rubio was shutting it down, like Rachel Zoe would say, on the Red Carpet of Los Premios MTV 2009. This look is perfection from the dress, accessories (check out her shoes in the picture below – sick!), to the hair and makeup. Congrats to Paulina for winning the award for Best Solo Artist.

Those are not your grandmother’s ankle boots. How cool are those heels?

Rihanna @ Gareth Pugh

Rihanna shut it down during Paris Fashion week. She wore a slew of black outfits that were far from boring, occasionally skipping on a bra just to make sure ha ha ha. At Hussein Chalayan she changed it up with some grey and ended her week with some color at the Chanel show. Mariel Haenn, her stylist, is the mastermind behind her looks. Mylah Morales and Ursula Stephens hold it down on the makeup and hair front.

John Galliano

John Galliano brought the sexy to Christian Dior’s Spring 2010 Ready-to-Wear Collection at Paris Fashion Week last Friday.  This collection is an excuse to wear lingerie outdoors with trench coats here and there to hide the lingerie underneath. There were lots of sheers, color, florals, and shine.

I loved the old hollywood hair paired with the classic red lip but the pop of color on the eyes by Pat McGrath give the looks a modern edge.
