The next installment of RiRi <3 MAC is here! I can’t contain my excitement over the gorgeous packaging. My friend and I met up at 6:30 AM at a local mall to line up at the MAC store that opened at 8:00 AM. We were practically foaming at the mouth over the collection and we definitely did not want to deal with the dreaded waiting room process when the collection launches on the MAC website (on Monday, September 30th at 12:00PM EST) so we showed up extra early. Too early in fact, since the mall was not even open yet. We killed some time until it opened and when we got back there were already some people waiting ( we were not alone lol). Our craziness paid off since we were able to score everything we wanted. Everything except the coveted Talk That Talk lipstick. Apparently that location must have gotten less than a handful, which led to a mad dash to other MAC stores. Luckily we were able to get the hot item at our second stops (we split up lol) and just like that 10 lbs were lifted off of our shoulders. It was that serious! I advise that you are online at noon sharp or figure out what time your local MAC-carrying department store opens (the collection launches at counters on October 3rd) and line up ahead of time, ESPECIALLY if you want to get your hands on Talk That Talk. I predict it will be the first item to sell out. It is a fabulous vampy berry color, perfect for the cooler months ahead.

Her Cocoa Eye Shadow X4
Hibiscus Kiss Powder Blush
Bad Girl Gone Good Powder Blush
Diamonds Cream Colour Base
RiRi Woo Lipstick
Talk That Talk Lipstick
RiRi Woo Pro Longwear Lip Pencil
Talk That Talk Pro Longwear Lip Pencil
Extended Play Gigablack Lash
Before I share my top picks I will say that the colors aren’t terribly unique. You will likely find similar colors in your collection. What makes these items special is the packaging (I got Hibiscus Kiss strictly for the compact). The rose gold mirror effect and the RiRi <3 MAC logo is stunning. As a fan and collector I could not pass up on picking some of these items. But anyway lets get to the good stuff, I’ll save the diatribe for my review video.
If I had to choose I would say Talk That Talk lipstick and Bad Girl Gone Good blush are must haves. If you are into cream highlighters Diamonds Cream Colour Base would be a nice addition. The brushes are also worth considering. They are beautiful and worth the investment since they will last for ages if cared for properly.
Did you get anything in the MAC store launch? And if you’re waiting for it to go online and at counters, what is on your wish list?
