Thats what I do or even the back of a makeup brush. Put a small dot of glue on the packaging and dip the tip then apply. Its almost impossible to over apply and its much easier. I used to do it like u did and I still do when I am in a hurry and dont feel like going through all that… but yea like I said for the sake of the video in terms of making it a little easy on u.
