This foundation is great for everyday use. It is very lightweight and a baby step up from tinted moisturizer because it is waterproof. The foundation is a water-based gel that gives your skin a satin-finish according to sephora.com.

I like dusting some Make Up For Ever HD Powder over the foundation because the satin finish can look a little over the top for my taste. This is especially important if you will be taking flash photography with this foundation because it can make your skin appear oily.
