This is a beautiful look. I’ll be copying this in the future. I have had my eye on “electra” for about a week or so already.
I just want to say thanks to you for getting me into shadow. I use to do everything except shadow and now I at least have to line my eyes! The 1st video I caught of you was with the nars rated r shadow duo and I ran right out and bought it.
Not to write a book here, but you have my respect and I always look forward to what you do.

…I love this look!…what brush did you use to apply the concealer as the highlight?

I have a similar grey… I think. lol It’s called silver ring and I have filament, but I find it is a little messy. I think i will try this look with those. Since MAC does not have red, do you have any suggestions on combinations to make a reddish eye? BTW… great grey eyes. Thumbs up!!

You are definitely the expert! I have heard you talk about rice paper so often that I finally went out and bought it. LOVEIT!!!

Also, your brows look like mine when they are bleached, slightly. Are they lightened?

Hi! My eyebrows are not bleached. They are naturally that color.

      • Canday85 July 6, 2009 at 10:27 PM #

they’re very reddish. Are you filling them in with a reddish brown color?

      • DRBrooklyn730 July 6, 2009 at 10:31 PM #

They don’t seem red to me. I used the shiseido pencil in deep brown.

Also, earthly grey is my fave tutorial of yours. I love the subtle, but smoldering effect!

Hi there, I wore this look today when I went shopping and I got so many compliments, and I can’t tell you how happy I felt–I’ve been wanting to wear my makeup differently and just did not know how to,and you’re makeup vids are easy to follow and I just want to say thank you so much. I live in the Caribbean so getting MAC can be a bit hard,so I have to use colours like the ones you suggested from other brands. Anyhow I will be traveling to my mother country-England soon, and will be looking to purchase some MAC brushes, can you please suggest which are the most essential brushes to own? I’m kinda on a budget and so far I know I have to get the 217 lol.
    thank you again!

I’m glad the look turned out great on you. I would suggest adding the 187 and 109 brushes to your list. I have a brush collection video you can check out too. Hope that helps :)
